The addition has made some dramatic changes in the appearance of the house. These pictures will serve to compare the old and the new. We start with pictures that show the south side which was and is the most common way for people to enter the house. We removed the old porch and the addition that held the bathroom and replaced them with a new two-story addition.
These pictures are from the rear of the house. They illustrate the impact of removing the porch and bathroom and bringing the addition and the kitchen under one roof. We felt that this kept the house from looking like it had been patched together over the years.
These next pictures show that we made every effort to maintain the look of the original house in the addition.
